The Price of Life!

February 13, 2010

Interesting, isn’t it, that a price can be put on a child’s life? If you don’t believe me, read this article from the Winnipeg Free Press on Friday February 12, 2010.

It’s amazing that whenever an article like this comes out, numbers are attached to the cost of caring for the child. If someone was to take a look at how much they spent on their own kids, healthy or otherwise, they would soon find that by the time that child reaches 18, they probably spent that much on their own kids.

I suppose the difficulty i have with this article is that these mother’s don’t have a clue what they are doing to the baby growing inside them. The article refers to them as fetuses, but let’s just declare right now that they are babies, a life being born.

What the author is arguing is that it costs too much to care for the child. In other words, a price can be attached to the life of a child.

These women don’t need to be sterilized, they need to be educated about what is actually happening. They might smarten up.
