March 16, 2010

I stumbled upon this video quite by accident while doing research for a school project. As the video suggests, there is graphic content.

Consider what Pro-Life means to you. Please?

        here’s the info:

Crisis Pregnancy Centre is a non profit, inner city ministry – the only completely pro-life organization in Winnipeg and they are supported solely through the donations of churches, business or individuals.

CPC offers practical, material and emotional support to women that have gone through or are considering abortion (or miscarriage) and to those living in poverty (spiritual and physical) that have little to nothing to offer their child or children. Their efforts have saved the lives of more than 2500 babies over the past 25 years. And have given hope to countless others.

We are throwing what is called a “BABY SHOWER FOR BABY JESUS”. What this means is that all are invited to attend, (Please come! It won’t be the same without you.) and bring a gift that will go towards a baby/mother that Crisis Pregnancy Centre is assisting.

The list of needs can include:
        -Clothing (infant to size 2)
        -DIAPERS (Size 2 and up)
        -Formula, baby food
        -Receiving blankets and crib sheets
        -Baby blankets and quilts
        -Seasonal outerwear
-Baby items such as – shampoo, soap, bottles, facecloths, soothers, baby wipes, teething rings
        -Gently used baby items.
-Money – checks can be made out to “Crisis Pregnancy Centre” and are tax receipt able.
        -Maternity clothing

PLEASE COME and link arms with those that sit on the front lines helping those in our proverbial “back yard.”

        When: Sunday, April 11, 2010
Where: Winnipeg Centre Vineyard 782 Main Street
        (Use the south entrance)
        Time: 2:30 pm
