War on Science

November 8, 2010

Remember the time when abortion activists, the pro-choice people, were trying to argue that science proves that life does not begin at conception? Remember those days? Well apparently, I guess science failed these people. Scientists the world over readily agree that life begins at conception. They agree that the “thing” growing inside a woman’s womb is not a “thing” at all, but is in fact a LIFE. Well, now that science has failed to bend to the pro-choice agenda, Planned Parenthood has started a War on Science campaign that is supposed to tell us that science is in fact wrong. The very thing they were hoping for, the thing they wanted to put all their trust in, SCIENCE, is wrong. We all know it’s not, but these people will try anything.

What are your thoughts?

I recently read a book chapter on feminism and abortion that convincingly argued that historic feminism actually undermines abortion. In other words, on both historical and logical grounds, feminism is opposed to abortion.

Anyway, in the chapter the authors mentioned that it is now widely accepted by both pro-life and pro-choice people that life begins at conception. I didn’t know this was so widely agreed upon, but I’m happy that it is.

Unfortunately, as the above blog illustrates, some still have not learned that science is not a tool to be manipulated by special interest groups.

Historically that may have been the case, but over recent years the pro-choice agenda has been a positive for the majority of the feminists. The people in the video though, do not seem convinced of their own arguments, but are still trying to argue, knowing that their stance is actually quite weak. At least that’s what i got from it. Thanks for your thoughts.
