unPlanned

January 7, 2011

Well, after my rant yesterday, i thought i was done blogging for the week. By God’s blessing i am not though. Scouring the interweb this afternoon, i stumbled across an article talking about Abby Johnson, the former Planned Parenthood Director. Former because she has had an about face. That’s right, God arrested her heart and she came to realize the deceit and lies being perpetuated by the abortion industry. She has a new book coming out next week call “unPlanned”. For a quick read up, click here.

Thank-you God.

I’m thinking this book should be a pretty interesting read, and may turn a few heads. Just what the Lord has ordered.

I’m actually really excited about getting my claws on this book. I have been trying not to purchase anything new, just to keep the shelves emptier, but i may have to abort that mission on this book. I have heard interviews with abortion doctors who have changed sides and repented of their deeds, so i am curious to see how powerful this book will be. It sounds as though Planned Parenthood tried to sue her to keep her quiet, but they lost the suit, so she has free reign to share whatever she wants. I hope it truly is a No Holds Barred book.

Thanks Jordan. It’s an interesting article. Unfortunately, I am not surprised by the comments she makes regarding the Christian attitude towards her. The infighting she describes is prevalent. I have read certain books and articles that describe the horrendous attitude that Christians display towards pro-choice people and abortion doctors, and it makes me sick. As Christ’s example of holy living, some people have really dropped the ball, and that includes churches talking to people about these issues. I applaud organizations like 40 Days for Life, and Bound4Life, whose protests are silent. In fact, Bound4Life stages prayer meetings in front of abortion clinics and legislature buildings, as opposed to protests. I believe that God honors these faithful who approach him to intervene, as opposed to the other groups who protest violently. Again, thanks for the link.
