Sometimes when a story hits the airwaves, or when a situation takes place, we as human beings have a way of shutting things out of our minds. Which is why i posted Cute Little Bunnies the other day. It is also the reason i post this today. This story took place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, just one province over from where i live, about an 8 or 9 hour drive.

I came across this story about a baby who was left in a hospital bathroom because the nurses did not want to take care of the baby the way they were supposed to. What is outrageous about the story is that the hospital fired the two nurses, but a review board found that firing the nurses was too harsh a punishment, and turned over the decision. The review board gave the nurses a 3 month suspension instead of the firing, and so the nurses are back at work.

What kind of a world do we live in where people can willfully neglect babies and not take care of them the way they should, and not be punished for their actions accordingly. This just goes to show the travesty that is the Canadian judicial system. The court system has become so lax in giving the appropriate judgment to criminals and this attitude finds its way into the general public, and into the corporate sector.

May God establish his government and end this injustice.
